Fundación Bolívar Davivienda reflects the social commitment of Grupo Bolívar, an organization with over 75 years of experience building trust and a well-established reputation in the financial, insurance, and construction industries in Colombia, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, and the United States (Miami).
Since 2009, we have been devoted to fostering talent to build our nation; we have become a reference in social work in Colombia, and our purpose is to help succeed those who work towards building a better society.

Based on the principles of Grupo Bolívar and its higher purpose, to enrich life with integrity, Fundación Bolívar Davivienda works with integrity, good management, and commitment to reinforce this conviction with all stakeholders and advance all the projects in which it is involved.

Innovation

In line with the strategy of Grupo Bolívar, Fundación Bolívar Davivienda promotes the implementation of methodologies designed to enable the proactive development of a variety of programs; we support efforts to train our associates and equip them with techniques and tools to contribute to project improvement and management. We aim to convey this culture to our stakeholders through training and innovation sessions.

Social investment

Fundación Bolívar Davivienda believes that all resources ought to be managed as an investment that yields social returns with a high level of transformation. Each Peso, hour, donation, or resource must be invested in the best way possible for societal growth and sustainability.

Materiality analysis

Our 2020 report upholds the materiality assessment performed in 2016 and the transition to GRI standards conducted in 2017.

The information herein included reflects the completion and accomplishment of the goals set forth in 2017 programs, which were set out to be fulfilled in 2020. Similarly, we report on our work and progress towards contributing to the accomplishment of the Sustainable Development Goals.

This year, we partnered with a consulting firm, AZAÍ Consultores, to establish a change theory and to prepare the impact statement of Fundación Bolívar Davivienda, which will be shared and disclosed in 2021.
Furthermore, in 2021 we will update the materiality assessment and set forth new objectives and goals aligned with the strategy and statement of impact of Fundación Bolívar Davivienda.

Communication with our Stakeholders

Transparency of information is essential for Fundación Bolívar Davivienda as it allows us to build bonds of trust as well as prosperous and long-lasting relationships with our stakeholders.

We have therefore established a clear strategy to communicate and engage with them. This has allowed us to achieve our goals:
